State Sen. Frank Padavan (R-Bellerose) filed a motion in Queens Civil Courthouse Wednesday to impound voting machines and ballots in his district after his Democratic challenger Tony Avella ended his 38-year reign in Albany by a margin of about 3,000 votes, according to city Board of Elections results.
